Third Group Discussion : Reviewing Weaknesses & Planning Enhancements - Via Google Meet
In our third group discussion conducted via Google Meet, we focused on reviewing the progress of our project and identifying areas that needed improvement. We began by revisiting the interview process, where each member shared updates on the interviews conducted with our target users. Through this review, we discovered several issues such as unclear questions and inconsistent answers. This helped us realize that our interview structure may need refinement, especially if we plan to conduct additional interviews later.
Next, we discussed the importance of consulting Dr. to ensure that our project is aligned with the expected direction. We agreed that speaking with Dr. would help clarify the requirements for our prototype, verify whether our user research approach is accurate, and guide us on properly applying the Design Thinking framework. To make the consultation more effective, we decided to prepare a list of key questions beforehand.
We then moved on to reviewing our overall workflow or . During this discussion, we identified gaps in communication and task coordination that were slowing down our progress. To improve this, we suggested implementing clearer task tracking, more frequent progress updates, and a more structured system using Google Drive. Weekly check-ins were also recommended to ensure that everyone stays on track and aware of their responsibilities.
Lastly, we discussed how we would continue applying the Design Thinking process throughout the project. We revisited each stage of Design Thinking Process like Empathize, Define, Ideate, Prototype, and Test and planned how to strengthen our documentation and execution for each one. This includes improving our analysis of interview results, crafting a more precise problem statement, generating stronger solution ideas, and preparing for prototype testing in later stages.
Overall, this third discussion helped us identify weaknesses, refine our direction, and improve our working process. With clearer plans, better coordination, and guidance from Dr., we aim to make our project more structured and effective moving forward
